We could NOT be more excited to announce that we are getting ready for our next Mom’s Night Out event! If you were one of our guests at the first Mom’s Night Out at Kyodai Japanese Grill back in June, you remember what an amazing evening we had together! Moms coming together, enjoying an evening out, a chance to get dressed up and meet new friends. What could be better?! For a re-cap of that first event, check out the slide show on our Events Page. We look forward to seeing some familiar faces this time around, and if you weren’t able to attend in June, then you definitely want to come in November!
This time around, we are bringing the moms to the very heart of Iowa City: the downtown district. Our host for this event will be Iron Hawk, and we are so excited to fill their restaurant with local moms! Appetizers and soft drinks will be included with your ticket price; specialty drinks will be offered at 1/2 price for the evening, and their kitchen will be open to serve from the menu as well. If you haven’t tried their food yet, you do not want to miss out on this chance to enjoy it with your friends!
In addition to amazing food and wonderful company (as if that isn’t enough!), we will also be enjoying some yummy desserts, giving away some awesome giveaways and raffle prizes, and then ALL of you will be going home with swag bags full of coupons and goodies from all of our lovely sponsors and local businesses! Speaking of our sponsors, many of them will have tables at this event, where you can purchase some of their awesome products and/or chat with them about what they have to offer to local moms and families!
Don’t have anyone to come with? No worries! In fact, we had a TON of moms come solo to our first Mom’s Night Out, and the best part? They left with a TON of new friends! That, ladies, is the beauty of this event, and we are thrilled to have each and every one of you come out to spend the evening with us, whether you come with a posse of mom-friends or you get all dolled up and hop in your car by yourself (heck, how often do you get to do that?!).
