Don’t forget, tomorrow is February 1st already! And that means it’s time for our February Photo-A-Day challenge on Instagram! Just in time for this fun February challenge! This challenge is a network-wide project on Instagram (by network, we mean the City Moms Blog Network), which means we will be playing along with moms from all around the U.S.!
For those of you who haven’t done a photo-a-day challenge before, don’t worry, it’s simple! For every photo that you post in the challenge, use the hashtags #icmbphotoaday and #cmbnphotoaday (by using these broad hashtags, you can click on them and see all of the other moms who are participating, both in Iowa City and across the country! So fun!). Using the graphic below, you will see that we have a “prompt” set up for every day. Our first prompt, for tomorrow (February 1st) is the word “new”. So tomorrow morning, you set out on your quest to find a picture in your life that represents the word “new”. This could be a new pair of shoes, a new toy your kids are loving these days, or maybe even a brand new baby, if you have one of those in your house! The possibilities are endless, and that is the beauty of the challenge!
So, get your phones ready and set yourself an alarm every morning to join in the fun. {If you miss a day, no worries! Just join in again the next day!} Share it with your friends, near and far, and encourage them to join us as well! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
