Midwest Kids Market Fall Sale, Thursday-Saturday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.  Shop gently used clothing for infants through teens, toys, games, baby gear, household items, sporting goods, vendors, and more!

Oktoberfest, Friday-Sunday in the Amana Colonies. Oktoberfest features live music, drinks, food, dancing, a parade (on Saturday), games, kids’ activities and more! Fun for the whole family!

Saturday, October 4th

Blogger Dash Health Fair, 5k, and Kid’s Race, 8:45-10:45 in Lower City Park, Iowa City.   Join Iowa City Moms Blog and The Family Dental Center for our Health Fair and 5k benefitting the UI Children’s Hospital! Fun for the whole family, we’re offering a FREE kid’s race (1/4 or 1 mile length), kid’s activities, a Health Fair featuring local health and wellness experts (including chair massages!), and yummy snacks!  The Health Fair will go from 8:45-10:45 and the kid’s race will being at 10:0 a.m.  Come out early and cheer on the runners and walkers who are participating in our 5k! See you there!

Colony Pumpkin Patch Fall Festival, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at Colony Pumpkin Patch. Colony Pumpkin Patch’s Fall Festival features, games, activities, yummy food from Bluebird Café, and hayrack rides. Bring a non-perishable food item for the North Liberty Food Pantry and get a free ticket to the corn maze!

Fall Festival, Saturday and Sunday at Wilson’s Orchard. You don’t want to miss out on an annual favorite at the orchard – our Fall Festival treasure hunt. Search the orchard for a red ticket, bring it back to the barn, and redeem the ticket for a prize. Limit one per family. We also have other activities from 12 – 4 pm, trailer rides all day, lots of great apples ready for picking, baked goods, apple cider, and the grill will be open from 11:30 am – 2 pm serving hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, and chicken sandwiches.

Kaitlyn is the owner of Cedar Rapids Moms Blog and is an Iowa girl who has been married to her husband, Joshua, since 2007! She’s a busy work-at-home mama to their 5 children: 3 girls and 2 boys! A true Hawkeye, she graduated from the University of Iowa with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, something that comes in handy on a daily basis while trying to raise 5 kids! Her favorite things to do include spending time with her family, cheering on the Hawkeyes, reading a good book, shopping (of course!), and checking out all the activities the Corridor has to offer!
