Whether it’s a date night you’re looking for or a fun activity for the family, our partners at the Old Creamery Theatre have so much happening in 2016 that you’re sure to find something that fits!

The Old Creamery Theatre is celebrating their 45th anniversary this year, their sapphire celebration. They are proud to be the longest running, live, professional theatre in the state of Iowa. If you’ve never been before, they are a must see! Located in the Amana Colonies, they are just around the corner – only a 30 minute drive from Iowa City.

For Kids/Families:

They have four Theatre for Young Audiences shows in 2016 that welcome children of all ages to see the magic of live theatre unfold on the stage! The shows usually run a little over an hour to an hour and a half long, but there’s a nice 15 minute intermission in the middle so the kids have time to stretch their legs and take a quick potty break. After the show, everyone gets the opportunity to meet the cast, get their autographs, and take photos with them! It’s definitely a fun perk! Find out more on the Old Creamery Theatre website.
