Getting to know YOU.

Today, my friends, the post is about YOU.  Our amazing readers and followers of the Iowa City Moms Blog! As we have now rolled into our third month of the blog, and have hosted our first big event, I’ve been doing some (read: a lot of) reflecting.  To sum up all of these reflective thoughts, let me just say this:  Kaitlyn and I have been completely BLOWN AWAY by the response that this blog has gotten in the Iowa City and surrounding communities! We have thanked our writing team, we have thanked our sponsors, we have thanked our event hosts and the lovely ladies who attended the event, but let us not forget the most important element of this (or any) blog: our READERS!  Without you, there is no blog, there are no sponsors, and there will be no events.  And so today, to each and every one of you who are reading this, we thank you!

ReaderThankYouThank you to those who have chosen to subscribe to our blog via email (if you haven’t done this and you would like to, please enter your email in the box on the right-hand side of our home page.  So many of you have told us that our posts are the first thing you read in the morning, whether at home or in your office.  That means SO much to us!

Thank you to all of you who follow us on Facebook.  If you haven’t “liked” our page yet, please click here to do so.  We have a lot of fun on our Facebook page, and this is one of our favorite aspects of ICMB because we are able to connect with our readers in a new way and have “conversations” with you via our random (and sometimes late-night) questions for our readers.  Please keep sending your friends to our Facebook page, we are so humbled by the numbers each day!  We still remember climbing to 100 likes, and now we are nearly to 650!  Amazing!  Thank you Facebook friends!  Please always feel free to comment and share things from/on our Facebook page; we really do love the interaction with you!

Thank you to all of our Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram followers as well!  These aspects of our blog are still works-in-progress, but we are loving watching the growth!  These are all great ways to interact with our readers, and for you all to interact with each other as well!  After all, that is the goal of our blog:  to connect all of you to each other and to our community.  Please follow us on Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram if you aren’t already.  We’d love to see what you are up to!

Thank you to all of you who have signed up for our “VIP List”.  We were so glad to receive so many requests from those of you who wanted to be “on the list” to find out early about upcoming events.  If you were at our Moms Night Out, you received a little calendar of some of these events. If you weren’t able to attend, make sure you are on our VIP list, because we will be sending out more information on all of these things as they come closer.  Remember, to join the VIP list, all you need to do is send an email to info(at)iowacitymomsblog(dot)com and tell us that you’d like your name added to the list! It’s that simple! (PS:  Our VIP members also receive perks such as early ticket sales and some random giveaways, so don’t miss out on those!)

And lastly, thank you to all of you who have supported the Iowa City Moms Blog OFF-LINE, in the REAL world, as well! We were so happy to meet some of you at our first Playgroup, and at our recent Moms Night Out as well. And we are (happily) overwhelmed by the number of readers who have heard about our blog through co-workers, friends, and family members telling them about it.  Word of mouth has always been, and will remain, the best way to get the news out about something new and fun, and you ladies have done a great job!  We are so happy to see this community growing and friendships being made!

ReaderSurveyAs a thank you to all of you faithful readers, we would like to open the floor and let you speak.  Please comment below and tell us any/all of the following:
