My daughter learned the rules of the road by driving one of these pedal cars in a kid sized city at Safety Village. On top of traffic safety (including how to cross the street alone), she learned how and when to call 911, fire safety, bike safety, learned my phone number, our address, and lots more in the summer right before she started kindergarten.  It was a big confidence builder for her and we have been glad of all the skills and knowledge she gained there. If you have a 5-7 year old, don’t miss this program. It’s amazing!

Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty recreation center day camps are by far the most affordable in the area much more so than these listed here and I would encourage you to include them!
